What to expect at your first smile makeover visit
Initial Smile Assessment
Your Smile Makeover journey begins with a detailed consultation where we assess your current smile and understand your goals. We’ll evaluate the health of your gums, the positioning of your teeth, and discuss your wishes for the final outcome. Based on this, we will offer two main options for your Smile Makeover:
- Composite Bonding
- Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain Veneers: A Minimally Invasive Approach
For those opting for porcelain veneers, we use a minimally invasive technique, which often involves little to no reduction of the tooth surface, known as no-prep veneers.
Detailed Planning with Photos, 3D Scans, and X-rays
We begin by taking detailed photos, 3D scans, and x-rays of your teeth. This allows us to evaluate the health and structure of your teeth, ensuring they’re suitable for veneers.
2D Smile Simulation
Using this data, we create a 2D smile simulation that shows you what your new smile could look like. We work with you to adjust the design until both you and your doctor are happy with the projected results.
3D Digital Smile for trial Smile
Once the 2D simulation is approved, we move to the next step: a 3D printed trial smile. This involves placing temporary veneers on your teeth so you can see and feel the potential results. You’ll have the chance to assess the fit, look, and comfort before we proceed with the final veneers.
Preparation &Veneer Application
The next step is to prepare your teeth. This may involve minimal or no reduction of the tooth surface, depending on the case. This preparation is done over two visits. During the first visit, we prepare your teeth, and at the second visit, the final porcelain veneers are placed.
Custom Color Selection& Cementation
You’ll also have the opportunity to choose the shade of your porcelain veneers, ensuring they match your desired aesthetic. Once the veneers are custom-made and ready, we proceed with their cementation, giving you a durable, natural-looking smile.
